After the success of Last Choir Standing there has been an increased interest in choirs and choral singing. Studies have shown that singing is good for both mental and physical well-being and is a great way to meet new friends, relax and have fun at the same time.
The Hertfordshire Community Youth Choir (HCYC) is for mixed voices aged 7-21 and is for those that want to have fun and learn new skills at the same time. The rehearsals include popular songs, music from the shows, and many more styles, and will help with learning to read music as well as learning to sing in new and different languages.
We gather members from all areas of Hertfordshire so whether you are in Hitchin, Stevenage, Letchworth, Welwyn, Ware etc you are welcome to come along. Due to demand we are also accepting members from Luton and Bedfordshire.
