The staff and volunteers at HCYC understand that leaving your young person with another adult is always a daunting experience.

At all times during rehearsals and activities key staff have undergone an enhanced CRB check and there are designated trained child protection staff at all rehearsals. HCYC have a child protection policy that is available at all rehearsals and for your piece of mind parents and guardians are welcome to stay and watch rehearsals.

We have developed a polo shirt bearing the HCYC logo that we ask all parents to purchase for the students to wear in concerts and we ask that all members are encouraged wear this to rehearsals so that they are instantly recognisable to staff. This helps in forming a team spirit, with recognising students and with health and safety procedures in case of an incident.
